EHF Champions League: Magdeburg aims for next home win
German club SC Magdeburg will face Danish giants GOG in the EHF Champions League on Wednesday.
The Magdeburgers are looking to build on their 35:29 victory over Bjerringbro-Silkeborg in their last home game and consolidate their third place in Group A.
GOG, on the other hand, are currently eighth in the standings and will be eager to improve their position. The Danish team has won two of their last three games and will be confident of causing an upset in Magdeburg.
The match is scheduled to throw off at 18:45 CET and will be streamed live on DAZN. Magdeburg will be without injured duo Omar Ingi Magnusson and Magnus Saugstrup, while GOG will be missing Emil Jakobsen.
Magdeburg will be looking to make the most of their home advantage and take another step towards securing a place in the knockout stages of the competition.
