ENCAVIS Inks Long-Term Power Deal With Denmark's Schouw & Co.

The European energy company will supply around 160 GWh of electricity per year to Schouw & Co. in the form of a corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA).

The deal will cover Schouw & Co.'s operations in Denmark, Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands.

The pan-European power producer ENCAVIS AG has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Denmark's Schouw & Co., a leading supplier of windows and doors in Europe. Under the terms of the agreement, ENCAVIS will supply Schouw & Co. with around 160 GWh of electricity per year, covering the company's operations in Denmark, Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands. The electricity will be sourced from ENCAVIS' portfolio of renewable energy assets, including solar and wind farms across Europe. The PPA has a term of ten years, providing Schouw & Co. with long-term price stability and access to clean, renewable energy. The agreement is a significant milestone for ENCAVIS, as it marks the company's entry into the Danish corporate PPA market. It also strengthens ENCAVIS' position as a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to businesses across Europe. "With this PPA, we are demonstrating our commitment to providing our customers with tailored, cost-effective renewable energy solutions," said Christoph Husmann, CFO of ENCAVIS AG. "We are delighted to partner with Schouw & Co. and support their sustainability goals." "We are pleased to have secured a long-term PPA with ENCAVIS, a reputable and experienced provider of renewable energy solutions," said Jens Schjerning, CFO of Schouw & Co. "This agreement will enable us to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to our sustainability targets while ensuring stable energy costs for our operations." The deal highlights the growing demand for corporate PPAs in Europe, as businesses increasingly seek to reduce their environmental impact and secure long-term energy supply. By partnering with ENCAVIS, Schouw & Co. can benefit from the company's expertise in renewable energy project development and management, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of clean energy.
