On Wednesday morning, an aerial bomb from World War II was found during construction work near the main train station in Landshut, Bavaria. The authorities have evacuated the surrounding area as a precaution.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) is currently on site and is preparing to defuse the bomb. The evacuation area includes several residential buildings, businesses, and the main train station itself. Train traffic has been stopped as a precaution.
