Harry Kane: "Can't Understand" Teammate Eric Dier's Behavior
Bayern Star Baffled by England Defender's Actions
FC Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has expressed his bewilderment at the behavior of his England teammate Eric Dier, who recently stormed off the pitch during a friendly match against Spain.
Dier was seen leaving the field in frustration after being substituted in the 62nd minute of the match, which England eventually lost 2-1.
Kane: "I Can't Understand Why He Did That"
"I can't understand why he did that," Kane said in an interview with Sky Sports. "He's a professional and he should know better than to react like that."
"He's a great player and we need him in the team," Kane continued. "But he needs to learn to control his emotions better."
Dier Apologizes for Behavior
Dier has since apologized for his behavior, saying that he was "frustrated" at being substituted.
"I made a mistake and I apologize to my teammates, the manager, and the fans," Dier said in a statement.
"I will learn from this and I will come back stronger," he added.
Kane: "We Need to Move On"
Kane said that he hopes Dier can learn from his mistake and that the team can move on from the incident.
"We need to focus on the next game and put this behind us," Kane said.
"We have a big game coming up against Germany and we need everyone to be focused and ready to play," he added.
