Halberstadt Coach Rost: "We Want the Ball"
Halberstadt coach Dirk Rost wants to see his team take control of matches and dictate the tempo, especially in home games.
The coach made this clear at the press conference before the home match against Lokomotive Leipzig on Saturday (3 p.m.). "We want to have the ball and set the pace," Rost said. "We want to be the dominant team on the pitch." Rost's team has shown that they are capable of doing just that. In the 2-0 win against Altglienicke, Halberstadt had 62 percent possession and 17 shots on goal.
Rost: "We have to be more consistent"
However, Rost also knows that his team needs to be more consistent. "We have had some good games, but we have also had some bad games," Rost said. "We need to find a way to be more consistent." Rost believes that his team can improve its consistency by working on its fitness and concentration.
Rost: "We have a good team"
"We have a good team," Rost said. "We have a lot of talented players. We just need to find a way to put it all together." Rost is confident that his team can achieve its goals this season. "We want to win promotion to the 3rd division," Rost said. "We believe that we have the quality to do it."
