ORF Sport Plus will show the 2nd round game of the ÖFB Cup between SC Stripfing/Weiden and SK Rapid Wien on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, live from 6:30 p.m. on ORF1. The cup game between the second division team from Lower Austria and the Viennese Bundesliga club Rapid is the only second-round game on Tuesday. SC Stripfing reached the second round of the ÖFB Cup after a 6-0 away win at ASKÖ Steyregg (Landesliga). SK Rapid Wien was able to reach the second round directly due to being an ÖFB Cup semi-finalist in the previous season. For SK Rapid Wien, the game against SC Stripfing is the first competitive game of the new season. SK Rapid Wien, including the new signing Guido Burgstaller, have already played six test matches this summer and have won four of them.
