Police in Pinzgau investigate 14-person drug dealing ring: Drugs worth more than 500,000 euros sold
Extensive investigation by the LKA led to house searches and arrests
After extensive investigations, the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) Salzburg has cracked down on a 14-strong drug dealing ring in the Pinzgau region.
According to the police, the group is said to have sold drugs worth more than 500,000 euros between April 2021 and August 2022.
House searches and arrests
On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the LKA, together with the Cobra special unit, carried out several house searches and arrests in the Pinzgau region.
In the course of the searches, the police seized around 1.5 kilograms of cannabis, 500 grams of amphetamines, 200 grams of cocaine, 130 ecstasy tablets and 200 LSD stamps.
14 people - 13 men and one woman - were arrested. They are all Austrian citizens between the ages of 18 and 35.
The suspects are accused of drug trafficking, drug possession and participation in a criminal organization.
The investigation is ongoing.
