Siegburg station was closed for two hours on Tuesday morning after a suspicious object was found on a train. The bomb squad was called in to investigate, but no explosives were found.

The station was evacuated at around 9am after a passenger reported seeing a suspicious package on a train. The bomb squad was called in and carried out a controlled explosion on the object, but it was later found to be harmless.
