Simon Verhoeven Directs New Münster Tatort Episode
The next episode of the Münster Tatort will be directed by Simon Verhoeven, the son of legendary German director Michael Verhoeven. The new episode, titled "Father's Day," will be the 21st Münster Tatort episode and is scheduled to be released in 2024.
The episode will feature Jan Josef Liefers and Senta Berger reprising their roles as Commissioner Frank Thiel and Professor Karl-Friedrich Boerne. The plot of the episode is still under wraps, but it is expected to be a classic Münster Tatort mystery, full of twists and turns.
Simon Verhoeven On Directing The New Tatort Episode
Simon Verhoeven said he is "proud and excited" to be directing the new Münster Tatort episode. "I've been a fan of the series for years, and I think it's one of the best crime shows on German television," he said. "I'm looking forward to working with Jan Josef Liefers and Senta Berger, and I hope I can make an episode that lives up to the high standards of the series."
Verhoeven is a successful director in his own right, having directed films such as "Friendship!" and "Welcome to Germany." He is also the son of legendary German director Michael Verhoeven, who directed films such as "The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum" and "The White Rose."
The new Münster Tatort episode is scheduled to be released in 2024.
