Bielefeld - On Wednesday evening there was a traffic jam in northwest Bielefeld lasting several hours, before the Arminia Bielefeld cup game against Stuttgarter Kickers.
The reason for the traffic jam: Shortly before 5 p.m., a truck and a car collided on Dornberger Straße. According to initial police reports, the truck driver was slightly injured, the car driver was uninjured.
The road had to be completely closed for about an hour while emergency services were on scene. The long tailback extended back onto the A33 motorway.
The traffic jam also affected bus services: Several lines had to be diverted or delayed.
The road was finally cleared at around 6 p.m. The traffic situation then gradually eased.
