Zetterer: "I'll leave it to others to judge whether I'm in contention for a place in the national team"
After a great performance in Berlin and his first goal of the season, Markus Zetterer is on a positive run.
A few weeks ago, the trip to Cologne did not go as planned for the Zerberus goalkeeper. On matchday 6 of the DEL season, he was substituted after just 18 minutes. But on Saturday evening (September 30, 2023) in Berlin, the native of Landsberg am Lech not only kept a clean sheet for the first time this season, but also scored FC Augsburg's winning goal in the 2-1 victory.
After the game, the 25-year-old analyzed the game and his current performance in an interview with Radio Augsburg.
